Marsala - The Trending Color for 2015 Weddings

by Hannah Shain January 04, 2016

Last week my mom and I spent a lovely evening at the picturesque Tuscan estate, voted Colorado’s Best Wedding Venue ranked by Channel 7’s A-List 2014, Villa Parker. It was an honor to meet and mingle with the brides, learning about their engagement plans and chatting about the beautiful venue where they planned to say their “I-do’s.” We shared our tips of advice as they look to the big day and how this season’s trendy colors would accent the venue perfectly.

Marsala. Have you heard of it yet? Pantone announced the deep and soulful color their pick for Color of 2015. As explained by Pantone’s Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman, “Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability. Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth.” That description alone begs for some attention throughout the weddings this year. We believe we will be seeing more and more arrangements accented with the burgundy and pinot noir-inspired color alongside beautiful golds and creams.

For the tasting, we pulled together a unique centerpiece design for each table, inspiring the soon-to-be-married couples with ideas for how their very own wedding will look at Villa Parker. If you’re interested in chatting with our wedding designers about your upcoming day, please schedule a consultation.
