Prom - A Spring Affair

Spring is finally here! And with a string of warmer days, they’re making way for a season of renewal. Pops of color are everywhere, inspiring a fresh perspective in design, décor and personal style. So with prom just around the corner, it’s time to plan for the biggest night of the school year. With so many trends to choose from, trying something colorful and boldly different can make your look, just as unique as you are.

First, you have to get asked or do the asking! It’s time to step up your game and go the extra mile to show your potential date, just how much you care! The “promposals” are getting more creative than ever, from spelling it out in rose petals to tucking a message inside a bright bouquet, the sky is the limit!

If you have a date or you’re going stag, you’ve got to come up with a style that’s all your own. Guys if you want to look sophisticated, colored tuxes in maroons and blues are seriously in. If you tend to lean more toward the classic, go for a black tux but pair it with some colorful Chucks or Vans. Another sweet look is going with a grey or navy suit and accenting it with colored ties in burgundy or pink. Just be you!

This year’s prom dresses are sure to amaze all of you teen girls! The trending colors are blush tones, in pink, tangerine and copper and also moody hues like wine, cobalt and silver. If you’re tripped up on finding the right style of dress, two-piece dresses are all the rage and off the shoulder mermaid dresses are sure to turn heads. For those who want a more dramatic look, choose a dress with detailed cutouts or an open back to create shimmering illusions. Whatever your color or design, you’re going to look amazing!
