SUMMARY

Mainstreet Flower Market is currently looking to fill the role of Delivery Driver in Parker, CO The Delivery Driver is responsible for the Inspection and loading and safe delivery of all our beautiful flower arrangements to our customers recipients, special events, and other delivery requests. Applicants must be able to work non-traditional hours, including weekends with flexible hours, preferably daytime hours. The Driver would be asked to have a clean driving record and proof of a valid state driver's license. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, cleanliness and operations is desired; as well as impeccable driving skills and attuned situational awareness.The driver is considered to be an agent in the community that represents Mainstreet Flower Market; therefore, customer service, friendliness and positive conversationalist is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor daily orders, and plan efficient routes

Quality check and communicate issues to florists

Inspect and load flower arrangements into the delivery vehicle to ensure safe transportation to customers and recipients.

Safely deliver flower arrangements to customers, special events, and other delivery requests.

Maintain a clean driving record and provide proof of a valid state driver's license.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.

Demonstrate impeccable driving skills and attuned situational awareness to ensure safe and efficient delivery of flower arrangements.

Represent Mainstreet Flower Market as a positive and friendly community agent by providing excellent customer service and engaging in positive conversations with customers and recipients.

Ensure timely and efficient delivery of flower arrangements to meet customer expectations.

Follow all safety procedures and regulations when operating the delivery vehicle.

Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.

Communicate effectively with the flower shop team to ensure successful delivery of flower arrangements.

Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, with flexible hours, preferably daytime hours

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS

Ability to communicate with staff members and customers with professionalism and compassion.

Ability to design, communicate, and deliver beautiful wedding arrangements

Excellent customer relationship management

Ability to plan a design and communicate the implementation

Wide breadth of knowledge regarding flower names and care

Knowledge of equipment, flower design supplies and tools

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Clean Driving record and proof of license
• High School Education
• 10+ years' experience driving
• Must have access to a personal vehicle for work use

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to handle a variety of flowers
• May be required to submit to driving record check
• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to bend, reach, and maneuver
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work around some holidays
